Voice of Freedom: Interweaves Marian Anderson’s rich life story with her landmark concert at the Lincoln Memorial, exploring fundamental questions about talent, race, fame, democracy and the American soul. 

Goin’ Back to T-Town: The story of Greenwood, an extraordinary Black community in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that prospered during the 1920s and 30s despite rampant and hostile segregation. 

Freedom Riders: A courageous band of young civil-rights activists journeyed through the Deep South in 1961 to challenge interstate travel segregation. 

Freedom Summer: Over 10 memorable weeks in 1964, more than 700 student volunteers joined with local organizers in a historic effort to shatter white supremacy in Mississippi, the nation’s most segregated state.

The Murder of Emmett Till: In August 1955, 14-year-old Emmett Till allegedly whistled at a white woman, costing him his life. 

Jubilee Singers: A group of formerly enslaved students saved their school by singing in the decade after the Civil War. 

The Fight: The interweaving stories of two extraordinary boxers: Max Schmeling of Germany and American Joe Louis.
