While Biden’s win owes its victory to many different groups of people including even many Green Party members in swing states, special thanks should go to the Libertarian Party.
In the absence of the Libertarian Party, Trump would probably have won Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Arizona and a second term as President.
Also, of note, is that Biden won CA with a nearly a 4.5 Million vote margin. In other words, outside of CA, more people voted for Trump rather than Biden in the rest of the United States.
Against a crazy habitual liar, science denier and would be egotistic self-claimed dictator in Trump, a very badly managed Pandemic response, a depression era like economy and his intransigent Republican Party enablers, the results of this 2020 Election, despite Biden’s victory, should be viewed as quite an overwhelming failure of the corporate Democratic Party leadership!
These facts are for all those who keep bashing the Green Party as if their members should blindly join Democrats in supporting a corporate controlled Democratic Party.
Time will tell if Biden runs the nation as a President for the 99% people’s interests or for the 1%, corporate and Deep State interests! As this has been Biden’s political history and every President has worked for the 1% interests since Reagan and even earlier, don’t hold your breath as the bashing of progressives has only just begun!

Berniecrats are a 3rd party within the DP party with the mission of driving out the influence of corporations by replacing corporate Democrats one at a time. There are 2 Wars going on: the “cat-fight” between the two corporate parties for the most large, donor money and one between Berniecrats, who take no large donor money, and corporate politicians.
Berniecrats have been standing back and rooting for the DP to win the Presidency. In the meantime, Berniecrats are winning positions in Congress and in down-ballot races. It would be best for Bernie to have a Democratic President, Senate, and House but our fight goes on regardless of the outcome.
After the election the Real War begins. You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

Were is your data and what theory do you justify that:

No one is asking the GP to blindly support the corporate DP. We are asking folks to support Bernie’s strategy of reforming the DP from the inside. The goals of this strategy are best achieved by having a DP President, Senate, and House.

I made this statement based on the number of Libertarian votes won by Jo Jorgensen where Biden had won less than 50 % of the votes in Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona and Pennsylvania at the time. Since Biden has pulled to 50% in Pennsylvania, it would be a dead heat within a few 100s of votes. I probably should have said “Trump might have won” as I was assuming all Libertarian votes would have gone to Trump. Nevertheless, the election certainly would have been much closer in these states. (see the link at end of statement for votes in each state)
My point: Green Party is not a Democratic Party splinter group and we automatically owe the Democratic Party nothing! If DP wants Green Party member’s vote, then offer some significant concessions toward a true Green Party Progressive Platform. Libertarian Party generally receives 3 times more votes than Green Party. Many Democrats have voted for Trump! Also 30%+ of registered voters don’t vote! The problem: In catering to Corporate Money Interests, the Democratic Party has often not offered anything to these groups that would encourage their vote!
Note: Democratic Party could solve their concerns by supporting Ranked Choice Voting. Maybe they would get most second choice Green Party votes! Actually, many Greens, especially in swing states, did vote for Biden and even Hillary in 2016. Greens ought to be thanked instead of insulted and blamed for Democratic losses!
