2023-07-00 Regavim – Hqw Charitable Donations are Funding Indigenous Erasure   Although organizations like Ateret Cohanim, Elad, Israel Land Fund, and Regavim were founded in Israel as part of the settler movement, they are fiscally sponsored by charities registered in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and elsewhere. Friends of Ateret Cohanim, Friends of Ir David, the One Israel Fund, the Central Fund of Israel and the Israel Independence Fund for example all leverage their 501 (c) 3 status in the United States to fund settler colonialism. This allows these organizations to receive tax–deductible donations from the United States and funnel them abroad. 2023-11-22 ANWAR EL-GHAZI IS AN EXAMPLE OF PRO-PALESTINE SOLIDARITY FOR THE PRO SPORTS WORLD    The Dutch soccer player, who was fired for using the phrase “From the river to the sea,” should be emulated and admired by fellow athletes who’ve remained silent thus far. The silence of the sports world in the face of Israel’s genocide in Gaza grows more deafening by the day. Only a few athletes like Anwar El-Ghazi of the Netherlands have dared to take a public stand in support of Palestine—and in El-Ghazi’s case, he has paid for it with his job. In times like these, attempts to remain apolitical are simply unacceptable. Dave Zirin takes aim at the silence of the sports world on Palestine in this edition of “Choice Words.” 

Okay, look, the sports world right now is not exactly a beacon of free speech. I have talked to multiple players who are disgusted by Israel’s bombardment of Gaza, as well as the US government’s funding of this war, but they’re afraid to say anything.   Now, their decision to stay silent is understandable. They believe that if they say anything deemed anti-Israel, they’ll be told to recant, find themselves suspended, or end up out of work. For pro athletes, whose employment is never guaranteed and where the average career ends before you hit 30, the quiet is to be expected, but it’s also painful to see caring people muzzle themselves out of concerns for their livelihood. 2024-03-05 The ideology of war in Ukraine and Israel  The wars in Ukraine and Gaza are more similar than you might think, at least if you know their histories. The Ukrainian war didn’t start with the Russian military operation, but with the massacres in the Donbass, while the Gaza war didn’t start with the Al-Aqsa deluge, but 75 years earlier with the Nakhba. In the long term, those responsible for both wars share the same ideology.  

Generally speaking, every war defines who “we” are and who “they” are. “We” are Good, while “they” are Evil.  Western leaders, while declaring that war itself is bad, claim that it is indispensable today in the face of aggression from Russia and Hamas. According to them, Russia, or rather its president Vladimir Putin, dreams of seizing our property and destroying our political system. After invading Ukraine, he will invade Moldavia and the Baltic states, then continue westwards. Hamas, on the other hand, is a hate-filled sect that begins by raping and beheading Jews out of anti-Semitism, and will continue by invading the West in the name of its religion.

It’s worth noting that both Israel and the USA were founded by their armies, the Haganah and the Continental Army. Today, the vast majority of their political leaders have spent their careers in the armed forces or secret services. But they’re not the only ones, since Xi Jinping is a military man and Vladimir Putin is a former member of the Soviet secret service (KGB).

One wonders what feeds the phantasms of the political West and how they prevent us from grasping reality. Russia didn’t invade Ukraine any more than France invaded Rwanda. Moscow and Paris stopped the massacre of Ukrainians in the Donbass and Rwandan Tutsis. Both were driven by their “responsibility to protect” and implemented Security Council resolutions. Palestinians don’t rape and behead anyone for pleasure, even if some of them belong to a secret society that does. They don’t fight the Jews out of anti-Semitism, except for the historic branch of Hamas, but against the apartheid system of which they are victims.  https://www.voltairenet.org/article220527.html

2024-02-08 Expanded Rafah Assault Would Be ‘Stain on Israel’ and Its Backers: Refugee Group     Accusing Israel of waging war on a “gigantic refugee camp” where more than 1 million Palestinians have moved to escape air and ground attacks over the last four months, the head of the Norwegian Refugee Council on Thursday called on the Israel Defense Forces to stop its shelling of the southern Gaza city of Rafah and halt further plans for an intensified assault.

With Israeli military officials reporting that they have not devised a plan to protect civilian lives in Rafah, NRC Secretary-General Jan Egeland said that a ground offensive in the city—previously designated a “safe zone” where more than 1 million Palestinians were told to go as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched air and ground attacks across the enclave—would be a “stain on both Israel and those nations providing arms,” including the United States.
