2021-09-15 Pandemic Triggered ‘Avalanche’ of Kids and Teens With Mental Health Problems — But They Have Nowhere to Go   Medical experts across the country say the mental health of children deteriorated during the pandemic — with a large number of children taking up beds in emergency rooms due to a shortage of placements, providers and resources to combat the crisis.   

Since the onset of the pandemic, Children’s hospitals throughout the country have seen a “meteoric” rise in the number of children who need mental health help.   To make matters worse, hospitals that struggled to meet the demand for mental health services before the pandemic are now dealing with even fewer resources — like hospital beds, providers, therapists and counseling — thanks to COVID.

Mental health among young people deteriorated during the pandemic when cabin fever increased family conflicts and closed schools left children isolated from activities and their peers.

2021-09-15 When It Comes to the Delta Variant, the Kids Are All Right   Here’s the cost-benefit calculus parents need to consider — and it’s not a close call.    There’s little evidence that the Delta variant is more dangerous for kids than earlier versions of the virus. It spreads more easily, yes, but the minuscule death rate among infected children continues to drop compared with versions of the virus circulating last year.

By the end of July 2021, more than 80 percent of COVID-19 cases (adults and children) were caused by the Delta variant, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That sounds like an alarming statistic, and in some ways, it is. But when it comes to children, the facts don’t merit panic. In July, eight children under age 15 died, compared with 17 in July 2020. Some of the decrease may be due to improved treatment and vaccination of children 12 years and older, but the case fatality rate for children too young for the vaccine is lower than last year. 

Even older variants are not particularly dangerous for children. According to the CDC, of the 633,786 COVID-19 deaths since the pandemic began in February 2020, 470 were children under 18.

Any child’s death is tragic, but this number needs to be put into perspective. COVID-19 deaths among children last year are comparable to the number of children who die annually in automobile accidents (636 in 2018) and the estimated 480 deaths from flu among the same age group during the 2018–19 flu season. As Martin Kulldorff, professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, put it, “We don’t shut down schools in flu season.”

That’s not to say that no parent needs to worry about COVID-19. Immune-compromised children and those with chronic illnesses such as diabetes might need to stay home during viral outbreaks at their schools. Parents, along with school administrators and public health officials—and, for that matter, doctors—need to balance the risk of COVID-19 infection for generally healthy children, which for the vast majority is either asymptomatic or no worse than a cold, against the harms of missing school.

2021-09-15 Judges Temporarily Block Vaccine Mandates for NYC Teachers, NY Medical Workers   Two court rulings on Tuesday could have big impacts on New York vaccine mandates.    Mayor Bill de Blasio on Aug. 23 ordered New York City public school teachers and staff must get vaccinated for the new academic year.   The city’s mandate said the Department of Education employees had until Sept. 27 to get at least one dose of the vaccine. New York Supreme Court Judge Laurence Love on Tuesday issued a restraining order against the mayor’s mandate, temporarily blocking the city from enforcing it. 2021-09-15 Biden’s Vaccine Mandate Is Unconstitutional   On September 9, President Joe Biden unveiled his COVID-19 Action Plan, “a six-pronged, comprehensive national strategy” to combat the pandemic. The most controversial provision, covering some 80 million Americans, mandates that all employers with 100 or more employees must ensure that each worker is either fully vaccinated or provides weekly negative COVID test results.

2021-09-15 U.S. Travel Ban: Are Vaccine Passports the Reason for Stalling?   The use of vaccine/health passports for travel in the U.S. received two sources of support this week. 2021-09-15 Doctor Argues for More Research Into Effects of COVID-19 Vaccines on Menstruation    Clinical trials for coronavirus vaccines should include examination of any possible effects on women’s menstrual cycles — if only because so many women are worried about possible problems, a British expert argued Wednesday.   But there’s also evidence the immune response prompted by both vaccines and viral infections can temporarily affect menstrual cycles, so studying these effects is important, Dr. Victoria Male, a reproductive specialist at Imperial College London, wrote in the BMJ. https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/15/health/covid-vaccines-menstruation-wellness/index.html

2021-09-15 COVID Vaccine Mandates Wreak Havoc on Healthcare System, Workforce   Draconian COVID policies and vaccine mandates are creating an uncertain future for a health care system that was already on shaky ground even before the terrible COVID policies took hold.

In January 2020 — pre-COVID — the Commonwealth Fund published a sobering report.  The report shared a number of depressing findings. First, despite the U.S. spending twice as much on healthcare (as a share of the economy) as comparable wealthy nations, Americans have the lowest life expectancy and highest suicide rates. Nor is America’s poor bang for its healthcare buck anything sudden or new — a 30-year-old study that compared the U.S. to 15 OECD nations reached the same conclusions.

Restrictive COVID policies have worsened these health indicators, with mounting deaths of despair and a plummeting life expectancy that researchers predict will drop still further.  The draconian policies — and especially COVID vaccine mandates for healthcare workers (HCWs) — are also wreaking havoc on the U.S. healthcare system and health workforce. Astoundingly high percentages of HCWs have experienced adverse events after accepting the jabs, rendering some unfit for duty. And among HCWs who, having done their due diligence, have chosen to decline the injections, firings and resignations are growing increasingly commonplace. These kinds of handicaps portend an uncertain future for a healthcare system that was already on shaky ground even before the terrible COVID policies took hold.

States imposing top-down HCW mandates may need to brace for some heavy fallout. 2021-09-15 FDA Strikes Cautious, Neutral Tone Ahead of Friday Vaccine Booster Meeting Influential government advisers will debate Friday if there’s enough proof that a booster dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective — the first step toward deciding which Americans need one and when.   The Food and Drug Administration on Wednesday posted much of the evidence its advisory panel will consider. 2021-09-15 The U.S. Makes Coronavirus Vaccinations Mandatory for New Immigrants   Beginning Oct. 1, new immigrants to the United States must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services said in a news release on Tuesday.   People seeking to become “lawful permanent residents” — or green card holders — have permission to live in the United States and eventually seek citizenship. Applicants for permanent residency must undergo a medical examination.

The new requirement for those seeking permanent U.S. residency is in line with President Biden’s new vaccine mandates for federal workers and contractors. 2021-09-15 Arizona Becomes First State to Sue Biden Administration Over COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates     Arizona’s attorney general filed a lawsuit Tuesday that seeks to invalidate President Biden’s latest COVID-19 vaccine requirements for federal workers and large companies, becoming the first state to mount a legal challenge to the administration’s newest rules.

2021-09-15 After Resident Dies, Caregivers Allege Vax Coverup at Assisted Living Facility   Two whistleblowers who previously worked for a senior assisted living facility are leveling some damning accusations about the treatment of residents, including the claim that they are being told the COVID-19 vaccine is just a flu shot. The former caregiver also alleged that signature forgery is routine at Aegis Living.    “In the past I had not signed for certain things that I knew I hadn’t completed, and I was told by the ACD [Associate Care Director] who had told me to sign them, that I needed to just sign them anyways. 2021-09-14 Vaccinating People Who Have Had COVID-19: Why Doesn’t Natural Immunity Count in the U.S.?    The CDC estimates that SARS-CoV-2 has infected more than 100 million Americans, and evidence is mounting that natural immunity is at least as protective as vaccination. Yet public health leadership says everyone needs the vaccine.  

When the vaccine rollout began in mid-December 2020, more than one quarter of Americans — 91 million — had been infected with SARS-CoV-2, according to a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimate. As of this May, that proportion had risen to more than a third of the population, including 44% of adults aged 18-59.  

The substantial number of infections, coupled with the increasing scientific evidence that natural immunity was durable, led some medical observers to ask why natural immunity didn’t seem to be factored into decisions about prioritizing vaccination.   “Many of us were saying let’s use [the vaccine] to save lives, not to vaccinate people already immune,”

As more U.S. employers, local governments and educational institutions issue vaccine mandates that make no exception for those who have had COVID-19, questions remain about the science and ethics of treating this group of people as equally vulnerable to the virus — or as equally threatening to those vulnerable to COVID-19 — and to what extent politics has played a role.

As COVID cases surged in Israel this summer, the Ministry of Health reported the numbers by immunity status. Between July 5 and Aug. 3, just 1% of weekly new cases were in people who had previously had COVID-19.  “the data suggest that the recovered have better protection than people who were vaccinated.”       

The ire being directed at people who are unvaccinated is also indiscriminate — and emanating from America’s highest office.   President Biden left no room for those questioning the public health necessity or personal benefit of vaccinating people who have had COVID-19: “We have a pandemic because of the unvaccinated … So, get vaccinated. 2021-09-14 Questions Linger on Vaccine Mandate for Federal Contractors    Contracting experts have additional questions about the vaccine mandate for federal contractors ahead of the supplemental guidance expected to be released later this month.  

President Biden issued an executive order on September 9 requiring federal contractors, as well as federal employees, to be vaccinated against the novel coronavirus. The order outlines what should be implemented over the next month and how, but the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force will issue supplemental guidance by September 24 that will further explain the requirements and any exceptions.  

The order “applies to new contracts or solicitations issued on or after October 15, 2021, as well as extensions or renewals of existing contracts, or exercises of options on existing contracts, that occur on or after October 15, 2021.”   Since there is this ramp-up period, the Biden administration’s Safer Federal Workforce Task Force said in an update on Monday that “prior to being contractually required to be vaccinated, onsite contractor employees who are not fully vaccinated and are not part of an agency testing program must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test from no later than the previous three days prior to entry to federal building.”   https://www.govexec.com/management/2021/09/questions-linger-vaccine-mandate-federal-contractors/185343/

2021-09-14 GOP Lawmakers Call for Pelosi to Subpoena Fauci on COVID-19 Origin     A group of House Republicans led by Rep. 2021-09-14 Thousands of State Workers Seek Exemptions to Washington Vaccine Mandate  Workers must be fully vaccinated by Oct. 18, or lose their jobs unless they have either a medical or religious exemption.     More than 4,300 state workers are seeking an exemption to Washington Gov. Jay Inslee’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate. 2021-09-13 Children’s Health Defense Responds to Biden’s ‘Declaration of War Against Unvaccinated’   In a “deeply disturbing” speech last week, President Biden exhorted medical coercion of an experimental gene therapy for a virus with a 99% survival rate for a large portion of the population, and for which no one bears financial liability in cases where injuries or deaths occur.   

He went further still, empathizing with the anger and anxiety of those who’ve been vaccinated and thus presumably protected. He threatened, “We cannot let the unvaccinated undo this progress,” although he muddled the words in delivery.

Biden also took a potshot at dissenting doctors, suggesting they are “conspiracy theorists,” not “real doctors.” His comments echoed the calls of others, including the Federation of State Medical Boards, to take away the medical licenses of doctors who dare to raise questions about vaccine safety.

The president’s speech was deeply disturbing. He exhorted medical coercion of an experimental gene therapy for a virus with a 99% survival rate for a large portion of the population, and for which no one bears financial liability in cases where injuries or deaths occur.

Furthermore, Biden misled the public on vaccine approval. He suggested that because the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the Pfizer Comirnaty vaccine on Aug. 23, there’s nothing more for the unvaccinated to “wait for.”

However, the FDA has not licensed the Moderna, Johnson & Johnson (marketed as Janssen) and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines, and the licensed Pfizer Comirnaty vaccine is largely unavailable in the U.S.

2021-09-13 Adolescent Boys at Higher Risk of Hospitalization From Pfizer Vaccine Than From COVID  According to a new pre-print study, boys between the ages of 12 and 15, with no underlying medical conditions, were four to six times more likely to be diagnosed with vaccine-related myocarditis than they were to be hospitalized with COVID.   

The rate of myocarditis after two doses of Pfizer’s vaccine to be 162.2 cases per million for healthy 12- to 15-year-old boys, and 94 cases per million for healthy 16- to 17-year-old boys. The equivalent rates for girls were 13.4 and 13 cases per million, respectively.   

 At current U.S. infection rates, the risk of a healthy adolescent being taken to the hospital with COVID in the next 120 days is about 44 per million, they said.   

Most children who experienced myocarditis had symptoms within days of the second dose of Pfizer’s vaccine, though a similar side-effect was seen with Moderna’s COVID vaccine. About 86% of the boys affected required hospital care, the authors said.   

On Sept. 13, UK’s chief medical officers recommended children 12 to 15 years old be offered one dose of a COVID vaccine to help reduce disruption to education, BBC news reported.   A single dose was recommended due to the potential risks of myocarditis associated with COVID vaccines.

They acknowledged current COVID vaccines are less effective against the Delta variant compared to previous variants.   Estimates also suggest more than half of secondary school age children may already have been infected and acquired natural immunity.

The vaccine is likely to be given in schools, and parents will be asked to give consent.  However, if a child and parent are of opposing views and the child is considered competent to decide, the child will get the final say.

It will now be up to ministers whether to accept the recommendation of the UK’s four chief medical officers. 2021-09-13 Mu Variant, Which May Be Vaccine-Resistant, in All 50 States After Nebraska Case    The COVID-19 Mu variant was confirmed to be in all 50 U.S. states after the mutation was detected in Nebraska.   According to Outbreak.Info, which uses data from the GISAID virus reporting network, 5,659 Mu variant sequences have been detected worldwide, as of September 4. 2021-09-13 Fauci Botched the AIDS Epidemic so Big Pharma Could Profit. He’s Doing It Again With COVID.    During the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s, Dr. Anthony Fauci discouraged and prevented inexpensive treatments for AIDS and focused exclusively on AZT. He’s doing the same thing today with COVID, focusing on highly profitable vaccines and ignoring potentially safe and effective treatments. 

Fauci, named head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in 1984, sparked panic among Americans in the 1980s when he wrote in a medical journal that AIDS could be transmitted not only through sexual contact and sharing needles, but also through “ordinary close contact” with the infected.

Fauci’s remarks followed the discovery of an infant diagnosed with AIDS — a case we would later learn was caused when the child passed through the womb of an infected mother.   But the damage was already done. “Public panic had intensified and people were fearing they could get aids from sharing a toilet seat or even from shaking hands. 2021-09-10 Q&A on Biden’s COVID-19 Vaccine-or-Test Rule    The most controversial part of the plan is Biden’s directive to the Labor Department to develop a temporary emergency rule for businesses with 100 or more employees that would require workers to be fully vaccinated or be tested at least once a week.    Republican governors have threatened to sue the administration to stop implementation of the plan.

Some experts have said the vaccine requirement is legal under the Occupational Safety and Health Act. 2021-09-10 Pfizer to Seek FDA EUA for COVID-19 Vaccine for 5- to 11-Year-Olds in Coming Weeks   Children as young as five years old may soon get the COVID-19 vaccine. Friday, Pfizer announced that it would submit its clinical trials for their 5 to 11-year-olds to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the coming weeks.   This March, Pfizer began testing 4,500 children in a three-age group trial for their COVID-19 vaccine. There is a cult-like, unconscionable attitude toward those who dispute any aspect of the vaccination plan. Instead, angry blame is mounting, with an implication that the unvaccinated are causing the pandemic to continue.  The outrage would be more practically applied if focused on known risk factors such as unhealthy diet and poor nutrition, obesity and diabetes. 

Why isn’t COVID-19 news coverage replete with guidance for those at risk, with convincing articles concerning life-style and dietary choices?  It is because nothing but messages that support vaccination production and sales are acceptable. Deviation from this doctrine is taboo.

As of May 1, the CDC stopped gathering data on breakthrough cases that were not hospitalizations or deaths. This quiet decision came concurrently with the revelation that newer highly contagious variants could infect the vaccinated. With minimal or no symptoms, these people could continue to infect others unknowingly. It is also possible this could drive new variants. Ignoring critical information about breakthrough cases directly illustrates how countering vaccine efficacy is off-limits. This approach to maintaining status quo for a product is not new. An atmosphere where marginalizing dissent and minimizing non-supportive data has been the precursor to every abuse and scandal where Big Pharma dominated the conversation.

2021-09-08 The Cause of COVID Deaths No One Wants to Talk About   Governments focused on the virus itself, fighting it with drugs and vaccines or avoiding it with quarantines and isolation, but ignored the toxic exposures that degrade immune systems, greatly increasing the risk of serious complications and death from COVID.

To find the real culprit behind the pandemic, we must look beyond the coronavirus to the various factors that degrade our immune systems, which greatly increases the risk of dying or having serious complications from the virus. In short, it is the pervasive, constant exposure to toxic stressors in our environment, in combination with genetic factors, that cause us to develop diseases that impair our immune systems and make us susceptible to serious COVID-19 infection. These factors include:

2021-09-07 100+ Ontario Youth Sent to Hospital for Vaccine-Related Heart Problems, Report Shows According to a report released last week by Public Health Ontario, as of Aug. 7, there were 106 incidents of post-vaccine myocarditis and pericarditis in people under the age of 25 in Ontario.

Since the start of the COVID immunization program in Ontario on Dec. 13, there have been a total of 314 reports of myocarditis or pericarditis following receipt of mRNA COVID vaccines. As of Aug. 7, there had been a total of 202 emergency room visits across all age groups for heart inflammation following vaccination, with 146 leading to hospitalization. Three cases resulted in ICU admission.

Myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle that can lead to cardiac arrhythmia and death. According to researchers at the National Organization for Rare Disorders, myocarditis can result from infections, but “more commonly the myocarditis is a result of the body’s immune reaction to the initial heart damage.”

The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) — the primary government-funded system for reporting adverse vaccine reactions in the U.S. —There have been 482 reports of myocarditis and pericarditis in 12- to 17-year-olds with 474 cases attributed to Pfizer’s vaccine. There have been 4,100 total reports of myocarditis and pericarditis in all age groups with 3,194 cases attributed to Pfizer and 1,090 cases attributed to Moderna.

Britain’s vaccine advisers last week said they would not recommend vaccination of healthy 12- to 15-year-olds against COVID, preferring a precautionary approach due to the potential for vaccinated teens to develop heart inflammation, Reuters reported. 2021-09-02 The Covidian Cult (Part III) In The Covidian Cult (Part I) and (Part II), I characterized the so-called “New Normal” as a “global totalitarian ideological movement.” Since I published those essays, more and more people have come to see it for what it is, not “insanity” or “an overreaction,” but, in fact, a new form of totalitarianism, a globalized, pathologized, depoliticized form, which is being systematically implemented under the guise of “protecting the public health.”

In order to oppose this new form of totalitarianism, we need to understand how it both resembles and differs from earlier totalitarian systems. The similarities are fairly obvious — the suspension of constitutional rights, governments ruling by decree, official propaganda, public loyalty rituals, the outlawing of political opposition, censorship, social segregation, goon squads terrorizing the public, and so on — but the differences are not as obvious.

Whereas 20th-Century totalitarianism (i.e., the form most people are generally familiar with) was more or less national and overtly political, New Normal totalitarianism is supranational, and its ideology is much more subtle. The New Normal is not Nazism or Stalinism. It is global-capitalist totalitarianism, and global capitalism doesn’t have an ideology, technically, or, rather, its ideology is “reality.” When you are an unrivaled global ideological hegemon, as global capitalism has been for the last 30 years or so, your ideology automatically becomes “reality,” because there are no competing ideologies. 2021-09-02 The Push for Vaccine Passports Ignores the Arguments Raging Around Them   Vaccinations are the high point of human reason. Devised under clinical conditions by scientists interested only in what works, they represent the mastery of the rational world over chaotic nature; and also, of course, they save lives. Vaccine passports, then, should in theory be no more than the rubber stamp of reason. So why does the policy, not to mention the discussion surrounding it, look so irrational?

In late July, shortly after nightclubs had reopened for the first time in over a year, Boris Johnson appeared to go against his previous approach – let’s call it, for brevity, “loosey goosey” – and announced a plan to make “full vaccination the condition of entry” to nightclubs and other crowded indoor events. The prime minister didn’t have the experience of Boardmasters, the Cornish festival in mid-August, which seeded so many COVID infections that the county, had it been abroad, would have been placed on the red list. Yet he did have that data by this week, when he restated this intention.

So he knew that a Covid passport requirement wasn’t decisive in the spread of infection. The festival organisers already had a Covid-status check in place, with every ticketholder aged over 11 required to show either a recent negative test result or a vaccination status. It must have been a disappointment to everyone concerned, that those two failsafes – the open air, and the vaccine – did, in 4,700 cases, fail. 2021-09-02 The Cassandras Were Right: The ‘Cure’ for COVID — a Global Takedown of the 99% — Has Proven Far Worse Than the Disease   Early in 2020, shocked citizens and social scientists predicted the widespread imposition of extreme “non-pharmaceutical interventions” in response to COVID would prove to have horrible and costly human and economic trade-offs — turns out they were right.

Never before have so-called NPIs — which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) also euphemistically refers to as “community mitigation strategies” — so aggressively taken center stage during a declared disease outbreak.

In the U.S., the five most adopted state-level COVID NPIs have been state-of-emergency orders, bans or limits on social gatherings, school closures, business restrictions (notably, restaurants) and stay-at-home orders.   The daunting list of “top-down … and bottom-up” NPI measures also includes travel bans, curfews, social distancing, masks, chemical hygiene and remote working — all adding up to the behavior change equivalent of shock doctrine financial austerity.

Noting the disproportionately harsh socioeconomic impact for an illness for which “the numbers of infections and deaths … were smaller than the numbers of those from tuberculosis or seasonal influenza,” a preventive medicine expert who chronicled the Korean fiasco observed, “the people who undertake the costs incurred by movement restriction are not the same people who benefit.”

A similar observation can be brought to bear on the prevailing COVID situation. Eighteen months in, most of the world is still being subjected to an endless Groundhog Day loop of dystopian restrictions (with a virus hardly even needed as justification anymore), while global elites widen the wealth gap to obscene levels and steadily consolidate technocratic controls.

NPI policies have been particularly disastrous for children.  the researchers reported children born during the pandemic are displaying significantly lower cognitive performance (verbal, motor and overall) compared to children born pre-pandemic.    The researchers’ IQ testing of pandemic babies produced an average score of around 78, versus a mean IQ score that, over the past decade, hovered around 100.

2021-09-01 Why Are We ‘Suddenly Rejecting Science by Forcing Vaccines on Absolutely Everyone?’ Asks The Hill’s Kim Iverson    Political commentator Kim Iverson says conventional science has always favored natural immunity when it comes to longer lasting and stronger protection against infection — so why are we now “suddenly rejecting science by forcing vaccines on absolutely everyone?”

In the largest real-world observational study, conducted in Israel — one of the most highly vaccinated countries in the world — scientists followed 700,000 people, splitting them into three groups: vaccinated people who received two doses of the Pfizer jab, unvaccinated people who recovered from COVID, and individuals who both recovered from the virus and received one dose the Pfizer vaccine.

The study found natural immunity confers longer lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease and hospitalization.   “The researchers hypothesize that it’s because of B and T cell memory,” Iverson explained. “And the fact that people who recovered from the virus are exposed to the entire virus, not just the spike protein that the vaccines expose the body to.”

“For some strange, politicized reason,” said Iverson, “this scientific fact has been hotly debated in the U.S.”   For example, she explains:

“In the incidence of chickenpox, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends vaccination for those who haven’t had a previous infection. On their website, under the heading, ‘Who needs a chickenpox vaccine?’ the CDC says: ‘People 13 years of age and older who have never had chickenpox or received chickenpox vaccine should get two doses, at least 28 days apart.’

“Same thing for the measles, and even polio, if they are not combined with other vaccines. 2021-09-01 Irish Musician Jim Corr and RFK, Jr. on Pandemrix Scandal, Vaccine Injuries    Jim Corr of the Irish pop band The Corrs told RFK, Jr. that “once you start to question the church of vaccination, that’s when the attacks really start.”  He is outspoken about the harm caused by vaccines — a choice he said has resulted in “phenomenal attacks” on his character.

The Pandemrix vaccine was manufactured in 2009 by GlaxoSmithKline in Europe to protect against the H1N1 influenza. It was given to more than 30.5 million Europeans.

It was later revealed the vaccine did not undergo proper safety testing and was linked to chronic fatigue syndrome, narcolepsy and Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

We learned the “World Health Organization was accused of faking the pandemic in an effort to promote vaccine sales for Big Pharma,” Corr told Kennedy. “I realized that vaccine injury was not the rare phenomenon that I had believed it was.”   In September 2018, the British Medical Journal published a study that detailed how world governments conspired to mislead the public about Pandemrix’s safety. 

A young Oxford researcher named Jeremy Farrar orchestrated the coverup.  Farrar, who is now director of the Wellcome Trust, was the first person Dr. Anthony Fauci called when he realized SARS-CoV-2’s lab origins were about to be exposed.   “GlaxoSmithKline started the Wellcome Trust with a giant contribution of its stock,” “It’s now the biggest pharmaceutical stock in the world and Farrar runs it. 2021-09-01 CDC Asks the Unvaccinated Not to Travel This Weekend and Says Even the Vaccinated Need to Weigh the Risk   Due to the surge of COVID-19 cases, the director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is asking unvaccinated Americans not to travel during the Labor Day holiday weekend.

The U.S. is surpassing an average of 160,000 new COVID-19 cases a day, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. With the spread of the more transmissible Delta variant and many students returning to the classroom for a new academic year, the rise is concerning officials and health experts. 

Health experts have said that vaccination is the best way to protect against the virus’ spread, and many have attributed the spike in cases to the large portion of Americans who are unvaccinated. 2021-09-01 Two Top FDA Vaccine Officials Resign, Raising Questions About Pressure From White House to Approve Boosters    Dr. Marion Gruber, director of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s vaccines office, and her deputy, Dr. Philip Krause, reportedly said they don’t believe there is data to support the Biden administration’s push to offer COVID booster shots later this month.

Neither believed there was enough data to justify offering booster shots yet, the sources said, and both viewed the announcement, amplified by President Biden, as pressure on the FDA to quickly authorize them.   Officials within the FDA were stunned by the news, CNN reported. One source described it as a “big loss” for the FDA and noted it caught leadership off guard.  

 However, a former senior FDA leader told Endpoints News, Gruber and Krause are departing because they’re frustrated the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and its advisory panel — the Advisory Committee on Immunizations and Practices (ACIP) — are involved in decisions they think should be up to the FDA.   

The source said he heard Gruber and Krause were upset with Marks for not insisting those decisions be kept inside the FDA, and with the White House for getting ahead of FDA on booster shots. “These two are the leaders for biologic [vaccine] review in the U.S.,” wrote Rick Bright, former director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, weighing in on the news. “They have a great team, but these two are the true leaders of CBER. 2021-09-01 Over Half of Employers Plan to Have Vaccine Mandates by the End of the Year   Now that the Federal Drug Administration approved Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine, many employers have been ramping up their plans to vaccine their workforce. By the end of the year, 52% of U.S. companies plan to have some type of vaccine mandate in place for their workplaces.

That’s up significantly from the just 29% of employers who reported they already have a vaccine mandate or plan to put one in place by the end of September 2021, according to a new report by Willis Towers Watson. The company surveyed nearly 1,000 employers in August, including both public and private businesses, as well as non-profits and government entities. 2021-09-01 AP Breaks With Mainstream Media Narrative: Time to Retire ‘Pandemic of the Unvaccinated’ Sound Bite    In a break from the mainstream media narrative, the Associated Press (AP) today said it may be time to retire the “pandemic of the unvaccinated” sound bite — repeated often by government officials, including President Biden, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Dr. Anthony Fauci — because it “doesn’t tell the whole story.”

“It is true that the unvaccinated are the biggest driver, but we mustn’t forget that the vaccinated are part of it as well, in part because of the Delta variant. The pandemic clearly involves all people, not just the unvaccinated.”   Branding it “a pandemic of the unvaccinated” could have the unintended consequence of stigmatizing the unvaccinated, Topol said. “We should not partition them as the exclusive problem.”

According to AP, a poll from the AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research in July found that 45% of adults who had not yet received a vaccine said they definitely would not get it, and 35% probably would not.  Nearly 2 in 3 (64%) unvaccinated adults said they had little to no confidence the shots are effective against mutations like the Delta variant. Just 3% of unvaccinated adults said they would definitely get vaccinated.

2021-09-01 Italy Extends COVID-19 Green Pass to Trains, Planes, Ferries and Coaches    Italy broadened usage of Green Pass health documents on Wednesday, making them obligatory for anyone traveling on high-speed trains, planes, ferries and inter-regional coaches.

The Green Pass is a digital or paper certificate that shows whether someone has received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose, has tested negative or has recently recovered from the virus.   Prime Minister Mario Draghi introduced the pass earlier in the summer to try to prevent infections and encourage people to get vaccinated. 2021-09-01 Biden Pledged to ‘Follow the Science.’ But Experts Say He’s Sometimes Fallen Short.  As president, though, Biden has sometimes struggled to follow through on his science-first pledges.

Over the winter, the White House press secretary publicly undercut the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention after she suggested teachers didn’t necessarily need to be vaccinated for schools to be reopened safely. Then came the administration’s sudden U-turn on mask guidance in May, which was criticized for effectively assuming that unvaccinated Americans would still wear face coverings. Most recently, and perhaps most striking, was the administration’s endorsement of “booster” vaccine doses, which numerous scientists say was based on scant evidence and undercuts the authority of scientific agencies.  

Given that Biden campaigned against a president who often downplayed COVID-19 and derided government scientists, many health experts hoped his election would mark the dawn of a more science-focused pandemic response. 2021-09-01 Who’s Really Being Hospitalized?    After a battery of testing, my friend was diagnosed with pancreatitis. But it was easier for the hospital bureaucracy to register the admission as a COVID case.

The mainstream media is reporting that severe COVID cases are mainly among unvaccinated people. An Associated Press headline from June 29 reads: “Nearly all COVID deaths in US are now among unvaccinated.” Another, from the same date: “Vast majority of ICU patients with COVID-19 are unvaccinated, ABC News survey finds.”

Is that what’s really going on? It’s certainly not the case in Israel, the first country to fully vaccinate a majority of its citizens against the virus. Now it has one of the highest daily infection rates and the majority of people catching the virus (77 percent to 83 percent, depending on age) are already vaccinated, according to data collected by the Israeli government.

As reported by the Associated Press, “The CDC itself has not estimated what percentage of hospitalizations and deaths are in fully vaccinated people, citing limitations in the data.”

At the same time, data collection is done on a state by state basis. In most states, a person is only considered fully vaccinated fourteen days after they have had the full series of the vaccine.  This means that anyone coming into an American hospital who has only had one dose, or who has had both vaccines but had the second one less than two weeks prior, will likely be counted as “unvaccinated.”

Then there is the problem of attributing severe illness and deaths from other causes to COVID, like in my friend’s case. Health authorities around the world have been doing this since the beginning of the COVID crisis. For example, a young man in Orange County, Florida who died in a motorcycle crash last summer was originally considered a COVID death by state health officials (after Fox News investigation the classification was changed.) 2021-09-01 NYS Health Dept. Eliminates Religious Exemption for Health Care Workers Avoiding Vaccine   The New York State Department of Health has eliminated the religious exemption for health care workers statewide who do not want to get vaccinated.   The decision was unanimous.

The department of health also established a deadline that all hospitals and nursing homes must require their employees to be fully vaccinated, with the first dose received no later than Sept. 27. “Years back, when they mandated Measles vaccination, they did so in the absence of any religious exemptions,” said Steven Hanks, St. Peter’s Health Partners Chief Clinical Officer. “They felt that the public health outweighed the religious rights. 2021-09-01 Take Another Look at the Spacing Between COVID Vaccine Doses  When most Americans showed up to get their first dose of an mRNA vaccine, they were sternly warned that they must schedule a second dose within a month. In my case, I politely explained that I would come back for my second dose at 3 months. The scheduler got flustered and treated me like I was a fugitive of the law. But a growing body of evidence over the last several months has shown that a longer interval provides better immunity in the long-term. It may even eliminate the need for a booster shot that’s now being recommended.

In May, researchers at the University of Birmingham found that delaying the second Pfizer dose to 12 weeks after the first resulted in a 3.5 times greater antibody response in older people. The increase is likely even greater in a younger cohort. Hematologist Paul Moss, MBBS, PhD, a co-author of the study, concluded that it’s a good idea to extend the time between the first and second doses of the vaccine. “An extended interval may help to sustain immunity against COVID-19 over the longer term and further improve the clinical efficacy of this powerful vaccine platform,” he wrote.   https://www.medpagetoday.com/opinion/marty-makary/94315

2021-09-01 Military Service Members With Natural Immunity File Lawsuit Against DOD, FDA, HHS Over COVID Vaccine Mandate    Two active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces on Aug. 17 filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Food and Drug Administration and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on behalf of themselves and 220,000 active service members who are being forced to get a COVID vaccine despite having had COVID and acquired natural immunity to SARS-CoV-2.

According to the lawsuit, the military’s existing laws and regulations unequivocally provide the exemption the plaintiffs seek under Army Regulation 40-562 (“AR 40-562”), which provides documented survivors of an infection a presumptive medical exemption from vaccination because of the natural immunity acquired as a result of having survived the infection.  

According to the lawsuit, Pfizer’s phase 3 trials — designed to test long-term side effects — are not scheduled for completion until 2023, and that “inexplicably, in the middle of that phase 3 trial, the manufacturer un-blinded the two cohorts, and members of the placebo group were given the opportunity to take the vaccine if they wanted to.”   Plaintiffs claim the FDA allowed Pfizer to turn the study from a placebo-controlled, blinded trial into an open, observational study.

Plaintiffs said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s “Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System” (VAERS), which contains adverse event reports for all vaccines administered in the U.S. from July 1,1990, shows a significant increase in adverse events since the rollout of COVID vaccines.

According to the lawsuit, before the FDA introduced COVID Emergency Use Authorization vaccines in December 2020, VAERS had recorded a total of 5,039 deaths and 12,053 permanent disabilities for all prior vaccines. However, for the week beginning Aug.13, VAERS showed 13,068 reports of deaths and 1,031,100 reports of serious adverse events from COVID vaccines alone. The plaintiffs said they have the right to be free from unwanted physical intrusion and involuntary inoculation against a virus that poses statistically zero threat to people with natural immunity,  

People who recovered from COVID were much less likely than never-infected, vaccinated people to get Delta, develop symptoms or be hospitalized. The study, published as a preprint Aug. 25 on medRxiv, showed people who had never been infected with SARS-CoV-2 but were vaccinated in January and February were six to 13 times more likely to experience breakthrough infection with the Delta variant compared to unvaccinated people who were previously infected with SARS-CoV-2.   https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/military-service-members-natural-immunity-lawsuit-dod-fda-hhs-covid-vaccine-mandate/
