Important CA Legislation Know the Bills and Voice Your Opinion The 2022 Legislative Season has closed, and we are happy to report that Governor Newsom vetoed AB 1940 (School based “Health” Centers.) We did not, however succeed in vetoing the other Bad Bills. Despite tens of thousands of messages and direct conversations with legislators, Newsom signed AB 2098 (Physician “Misinformation) into law on Friday, September 30, alongside AB 1797 (CA Immunization database), SB 1479 (Continuous CV-19 testing in schools), SB 1419 (Seals minors’ records) and SB 1184 (Discloses health information to school “coordinators”.)
