The revelation comes as Pfizer is accused by a former senior U.S. health official of “war profiteering’’ during the pandemic. 2021-12-05 I Worked at Rikers Island. Mishandling the Vaccine Mandate Could Cost Lives When I worked as a correction officer at Rikers Island, it was understood that you were going to do overtime on your first day back from your day off and on the last day before you were going to be off again. But while overtime did occur, it was understood that there had to be limits, and for good reason: Being a correctional officer requires for you to be vigilant, awake and on your feet for most of the eight hours of a normal shift. This rule book has been thrown out the window for most of the pandemic. NBC reported that correctional officers have been forced to work triple shifts for 24-hours straight, due to a shortage of officers, many of whom were out sick or had died of COVID-19. 2021-12-04 Omicron Has Not Killed Anyone Says WHO as New Variant Cases Rise in U.S The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that as of Friday, there have been no fatalities linked to Omicron but warned it could take several weeks to determine how infectious the new COVID-19 variant is. The WHO’s assurance comes as the new variant first detected in South Africa last week has now been recorded in 38 countries. In the United States, at least 29 cases of Omicron across 11 states have been reported. Boulder County is among Colorado counties with a vaccine verification program that’s optional to business owners. 2021-12-04 Gilead Recalls Vials of Its Remdesivir COVID Drug in U.S. Over Glass Contamination The American biopharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences has issued a nationwide recall of two lots of its coronavirus treatment drug remdesivir because of the “presence of glass particulates,” the company said Friday. Remdesivir, known also by its brand name Veklury, is normally used for adults and children over 12 requiring hospitalization for COVID-19, and it is normally given by intravenous (IV) infusion once daily for up to 10 days. “An injectable product that contains glass particulates may result in local irritation or swelling in response to the foreign material. 2021-12-04 Omicron Variant Found in More Vaccinated People in U.S. as Resistance Concerns Persist The Omicron variant continues to crop up in vaccinated Americans as concerns about the new strain’s vaccine resistance persist. More than 20 cases linked to the variant across 11 states have been reported in the U.S. as of Saturday morning. Of these, eight are known to have been found in fully vaccinated individuals. 2021-12-03 Data Scientist Tells RFK, Jr.: ‘VAERS Is Telling a Very Frightening Story’ Data scientist and immunology researcher Jessica Rose, Ph.D., about the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) and what it tells us about COVID vaccine injuries, especially among children.

“VAERS is telling a very frightening story,” Rose told Kennedy. VAERS data show 618,548 adverse event reports (as of Oct. 29), but that number doesn’t account for under-reporting, explained Rose. (As of Nov. 19, the latest VAERS data show 664,745 adverse events, excluding foreign reports).

“If you consider the under-reporting factor, which I’ve based on the Pfizer phase 3 clinical data — which is probably questionable data anyway — the under-reporting factor is 31,” she said. So to get an accurate count of adverse events, “you need to multiply the VAERS numbers by at least 31,” Rose explained. “It’s really staggering. We’re in the millions.”

Rose said the VAERS data also show there are “children being inappropriately injected with these products.” She told Kennedy reports submitted to VAERS show young children receiving COVID vaccines not yet authorized for their age group. 2021-12-03 Biosafety Expert With Close Ties to Wuhan Lab Urged Scientists to ‘Address Rumors’ of Possible Lab Leak, Emails Show Emails obtained by U.S. Right to Know reveal leading biosafety expert James Le Duc encouraged scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology to launch an “investigation” into whether the SARS CO-V-2 virus could have originated and escaped from the lab in Wuhan, China. In a Feb. 9, 2020 email to WIV Professor Yuan Zhiming, Le Duc wrote that he thought it was important to “aggressively address these rumors and presumably false accusations quickly and provide definitive, honest information to counter misinformation.”

Though the February 2020 email indicated he downplayed the possibility of a lab leak, only two months later, Le Duc wrote in a separate correspondence to Phillip Russell, former president of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, that it was “certainly possible a lab accident was the source of the epidemic and I also agree that we can’t trust the Chinese government.”

In the February 2020 email, Le Duc laid out numerous questions that he thought the WIV should address as part of an investigation into the possibility that the virus was “the result of a release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (main campus or new BSL3/BSL4 facilities).”

Among the questions he posed:

• Where is coronavirus research conducted? What level of biocontainment?
• What are the coronaviruses in your possession that are most closely related to nCoV [novel coronaviruses] based on genetic sequences and are able to replicate in culture?
• Is there an inventory record of each isolate of each coronavirus kept? If so, are there any discrepancies between the record and actual current inventory number?
• How many people have access to the coronavirus stocks and laboratory? Senior investigators? Junior investigators? Technical support staff? Post-docs? Students? Animal handlers? Janitors and other cleaning staff? Building support personnel? Others?
• Is anyone on your team conducting gain of function studies, recombination studies or any other studies that may have resulted in the creation of the nCoV?
• Does a serum bank exist for staff and students working on infectious agents? If yes, could a current serum and the most recent banked serum be serologically tested for antibody to nCoV in an effort to document seroconversion?
• Does the institute have an occupational health clinic where employees and students can go to seek medical care? If so, was there any indication of unusual illness similar to that seen for nCoV among Institute staff?
• Where and when were the first Wuhan (or Hubei Province) residents infected with the nCoV first identified (hospital or clinic name/date of earliest cases)? Do staff members of the Institute reside in the district serviced by this (these) hospital/clinic(s)?
• Do staff members of the Wuhan Institute of Virology frequent the seafood/live market first associated with the nCoV outbreak? Did any staff member visit the market in the weeks prior to it being closed? If so, how many staff frequent the market? How often would they visit the market during the period of interest?

On April 13, 2020, Le Duc forwarded his email to Yuan to David Franz, former commander of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, saying he had never received a response to his questions. Though the World Health Organization has been conducting its own investigation into the origins of SARS-CoV-2, many of the questions raised by Le Duc remain unanswered. And many scientists around the world fear there may never be a full, thorough and unconflicted investigation of the origins of SARS-CoV-2.

The April 2020 exchange between Le Duc and Russell shows that Russell, a physician, vaccine scientist and retired U.S. Army major general who died in 2021, was concerned that a “coverup” of the virus origins may be underway.

2021-12-03 5-Year-Old Died 4 Days After Pfizer Shot, CDC VAERS Data Show VAERS data released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention included a total of 927,740 reports of adverse events from all age groups following COVID vaccines, including 19,532 deaths and 146,720 serious injuries between Dec. 14, 2020, and Nov. 26, 2021.

Of the 8,986 U.S. deaths reported as of Nov. 26, 20% occurred within 24 hours of vaccination, 26% occurred within 48 hours of vaccination and 61% occurred in people who experienced an onset of symptoms within 48 hours of being vaccinated.

U.S. VAERS data from Dec. 14, 2020, to Nov. 26, 2021 for 5- to 11-year-olds show: 2,586 adverse events, including 34 rated as serious and 2 reported deaths. One death occurred in an 11-year-old girl from Georgia vaccinated Sept. 14, prior to the authorization of Pfizer’s COVID vaccine in the 5 to 11 age group. The second death (VAERS I.D. 1890705) occurred in a 5-year-old girl who died four days after receiving her first dose of Pfizer. 1,581 adverse events have been reported in the 5 to 11 age group since Nov. 1.

2021-12-01 FDA Panel Recommends Merck COVID Pill, Despite ‘More Questions Than Answers’ A U.S. Food and Drug Administration advisory panel on Tuesday voted narrowly to recommend Emergency Use Authorization of Merck’s five-day pill to treat COVID, despite the panel expressing a host of concerns about the drug’s safety and efficacy. The drug, molnupiravir, sold under the brand name Lagevrio and developed with Ridgeback Biotherapeutics, is an antiviral medication that inhibits the replication of certain RNA viruses, including SARS CoV-2.
